RIVERRAT BARN HUNT LLC will host a BHA sanctioned Barn Hunt event, July 27 – 29, 2018 to be held during the American Spaniel Club National Specialty at the Linn County Fairgrounds, Albany, OR. Barn Hunt is for all sizes and all breeds, including mixed breeds. Registration with AKC is not required to participate, but AKC does recognize Barn Hunt titles. Two trials and Crazy 8 classes will be held each day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. All levels, Instinct to Master and Crazy 8’s will be offered at each trial. The three ring, four judge format ensures that more teams have the chance to play until trial limits are met. Pre-entry for the trials is preferred to guarantee entry, but if trial limits are not met Day of Show entries will be accepted with an additional surcharge. Cocker Spaniels have an early entry period, May 14 – May 26, 2018, after which trial entries will be accepted for all dogs.
