Important Futurity Notice
Eye papers must be dated within one year of breeding date, unless the sire and/or dam are listed in the Permanent Health Registry
Futurity January 2019
Judge: Ellen Roberts
January Futurity Chair
1405 Walbridge Road
Millbury, OH 43447-9670
For nominating your bitches use the following checklist.
- As the breeder, are your dues paid so you remain a member in good standing?
- Are sire and dam over 2 years old?
- Do both sire and dam have OFA/PennHips/other countries certification numbers?
- Have both sire and dam had their eyes examined by a veterinary ophthalmologist after age 2 and within the 12 months before the breeding? Don’t miss out because you have old eye exams and don’t get new ones done until after the breeding. Send in the paperwork to nominate the bitch before the litter is whelped. Then remember to enroll your puppies by the deadlines.
Rules and Puppy Enrollment Form and Bitch Nomination Form for Cocker Spaniel Futurity
ASC will receive donations based on the participation of breeders and puppy owners in our club’s Futurity program. Purina will donate:
- $10 for each Futurity nominated litter
- $2 for each Futurity enrolled puppy, and
- $25 for each Futurity enrolled puppy that earns it AKC Conformation Championship title.
In addition to the donations listed above, the Nestle Purina Pet Care Company will send Recognition Awards for all Futurity nominated puppies that achieve their AKC Conformation Championship titles.
ASC will also receive donations based on the participation of breeders and owners of nominated litters and/or puppies in the Purina Pro Club loyalty program. When our club’s Cocker Spaniel Futurity participants are members of the Pro Club, they will earn valuable Purina Points for every purchased pound of participating Purina brand dog foods.
