LIP SYNC BATTLE
Join ASC for its first ever Lip Sync Battle in conjunction with 80s-theme night at the 2018 National Specialty. If you’ve ever watched Lip Sync Battle on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon or Lip Sync Battle on Spike TV, contestants compete against each other by lip sync’ing to their favorite song. Costumes are welcomed (and encouraged) and winners are decided by the audience votes.
- Each act lip syncs to their chosen song
- The audience votes on the quality of the lip sync performance on a scale of 1 to 10 (no fractions) on their score cards
- At the end of all of the acts, the score cards will be tabulated and the winner announced
- Committee members can participate, but they cannot vote or tabulate the results
- Day of event entries accepted!
Entry fee for a single performer – $20 (Dinner/2 drinks included with entry fee)
Entry fee for a duet/group – $25 (Dinner/2 drinks included with entry fee)
Tickets to attend (not perform) – $20 – includes all-you-can-eat pizza and two drinks!

The winner receives a blingy WWE-type wrestling belt commemorating this special win. Even though there are single entrants and duets/groups – only one Lip Sync Battle belt “winner” will be awarded.
